What do you think of directors who become actors?

A lot of directors are taking up acting. For example director Cheran acted in ‘Autograph’ and many other movies. Same way legendary directors Balachander in ‘Poi’, Bharathiraja in ‘Aayutha Ezhuthu’, etc.

    hero is not important for a movie
    it completely depends on the story
    so anyone can act...

    please allow some good faces to match the character. Director is a person who is already established in film career. let diretors pave way for some new comers who have the same or more talent. Directors becoming hero is the gate closed for new comers.
